About Our Department

The treasurer reports directly to the Board of Education. The treasurer serves as the secretary to the Board of Education and is responsible for all records produced and received by the treasurer's office. The treasurer is also the chief fiscal officer, chief accountant, chief payroll officer, chief auditor and investment officer for the Board of Education and serves as the quasi-legal advisor to the Board on matters falling under their jurisdiction.

Message from Mrs. Rucker

Welcome to the Treasurer's website.  We value transparency, efficiency, and sharing data regarding school funding for Huber Heights City Schools.  Our department works diligently to continue to achieve audit success and excellence in financial reporting.

The Auditor of the State of Ohio oversees the audits our financial operations every year and audits our financial statements. We are grateful to have achieved clean audits and the certificate for excellence in financial reporting from both GFOA (Government Finance Officers Association) and ASBO (Association of School Business Officers).
