The 20252026 school year at Huber Heights City Schools is just around the corner!

This page is your one-stop shop for important back-to-school information, including start dates, school supplies, open house details, and more. Content will be updated throughout the summer, so be sure to check back regularly to stay informed and ready for the year ahead.

  • The school day start and end times have been updated for the 2025–26 school year. Please review the schedule below to see when your building’s school day will begin and end.

  • Mark your calendars! The first days of school for the 2025–26 school year will follow a staggered start to help students transition smoothly. Please review the schedule below carefully:

    • Monday, August 18 – First day for grades 1–6 (last names A–K only), all 7th and 9th graders, and Warrior Academy students

    • Tuesday, August 19 – First day for grades 1–6 (last names L–Z only), and all 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders

    • Wednesday, August 20 – First day for preschool students with last names A–K only

    • Thursday, August 21 – First day for kindergarten students with last names A–K only, and preschool students with last names L–Z only

    • Friday, August 22 – First day for kindergarten students with last names L–Z only

  • Families can now apply for free or reduced-price meals for the 2025–2026 school year. A new application is required each year, and only one needs to be completed per household. To get started, visit the LINQ Connect website.

    Students who qualify for free meals may also be eligible to have school fees waived. Submitting your application early helps ensure everything is in place before the first day of school.

  • Get ready for back-to-school shopping by checking your child’s school supply list below. Also, don’t forget that Ohio’s Sales Tax Holiday runs from August 1 to 14. It’s a great time to save on school supplies and other essentials.

  • If you still need to register a new K-12 student for the 2025-2026 school year, you can do so through FinalForms. If you have questions or need assistance, visit the Registration webpage or contact the HHCS Registrar at registrar@myhhcs.org.

  • Parking passes for the 2025–2026 school year will go on sale in August. Seniors may purchase passes on Wednesday, August 7, from 7:30–11 a.m. and from noon–3 p.m. Underclassmen may purchase passes on Thursday, August 8, during the same hours.

    Parking passes will continue to be available throughout the school year during regular office hours.

    To purchase a pass, students must bring:

    • A valid driver’s license (no temporary permits)
    • Proof of insurance
    • A completed parking pass application (both pages)

    Passes are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $20, but students with a Renaissance card may receive a pass at no charge.
